This is a box plot for foundational learning for each development level. The range of the data is shown by the lines. The middle line shows the average, while the edges of the box show upper and lower quartile bounds. Foundational learning is defined as the percentage of children who achieve minimum levels of proficiency in the given subject. This data was sourced from the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey between the years of 2017-2020. This graph includes countries that are not classified and countries with a blank column. This graph shows that increasing development level increases foundational learning.

This is a violin plot showing the distribution of literacy rates for each development level**. Wider areas represent more data points. The data is from the UNESCO Institute of Statistics in 2018. This plot shows that more developed countries** have higher literacy rates and the data is more condensed.

This is a choropleth of literacy rates with a slider that shows only the countries of a specific development level. More yellow values correspond to a lower literacy rate while more blue values correspond to a higher literacy rate. The data is from the UNESCO Institute of Statistics in 2018. The graph gets more blue as the development level increases therefore the literacy rate as development increases.
